Cookie is presently being trained by one of the BEST dog trainers known in the area to learn how to handle aggressive dogs. Wouldn't you want to know your Dog walker / Sitter has been getting trained by an actual dog trainer with a top notch reputation to be able to handle your pets? Each class Cookie signs up for, she takes a clients dog "pro-bono" to help it out with its issues with aggression. Cookies Critter Care is slimming down service area's to the West Shore area, Metchosin and Sooke (Langford, View Royal and Colwood). Cookie lives in central Metchosin and last minute calls for drop ins are usually not a problem. Due to high gas rates, popularity and driving time it is only fair to keep things close to home. Cookies's Critter Care is not a cold kennel that some pet owners opt for. We stay at YOUR home (if you choose), allow your animals to be in their own home and environment. In their own home, they have the security of their own smells and the comfort of their own home they are accustomed to. Where kennels may inflict flea infestation and sickness from contact with other animals, you can rest assured that your pets are in their safe home, and well cared for by a professional.

This also eliminates the stress and anxiety that some animals experience and travel to an unfamiliar place.

Our expertise lies with cats, dogs, horses, sheep, and donkeys, but also have experience caring for rodents, and other small mammals.

We are comfortable working with difficult dogs who may be struggling with behavioral problems, and also administering medications, upon pet owner request and in accordance with veterinarian instruction. **Now also experienced with injecting insulin for diabetic animals**
